It can be burdensome to find the time and tone for a memorial reel under stress, so the best option is often to simply call someone who lives in the space of humanitarian video full time.

We do not post or share Epitaph videos the way we do our other films, as they are memories that belong uniquely, to the friends and families of the departed.

Rather we trust that our history of making graceful videos that present issues of gravity, for humanitarian groups the world over, will assure our ability to:

• assemble the best memorial video to celebrate your loved one’s life…
• deliver the final ceremony, LIVE, to absent friends who could not attend via live stream, so they can very much be there in spirit…
• and do so beautifully.

Traditionally, an Epitaph Video comes in two parts:

FIRST: A Life Celebration, or ‘In Memoriam’ reel.

This is a video for the attendees of the service or the wake, composed of gathered photographs, footage, audio recordings, phone messages, (or occasionally even Facebook posts which particularly represented the person.) – It’s typically set to music that’s uniquely suited to the departed, and between 2 and 4 minutes in length.

This video will typically take 2 editing days ($600) to generate, but can possibly be prepared on a rush order if the time isn’t available.

Our team understands the pressure and strain those arranging funeral services are typically under, and will make every effort to keep photo and video gathering painless. — We can receive digital copies from whoever is assigned to be “Photo Gatherers”, or we can come pick them up and scan, convert, and copy them. — Don’t worry. We’re good at this.

SECOND: The Final Ceremony Stream (For Absent Friends)

In a time when schedules and ‘life’ keep us from connecting… we’re also in an era, where technology empowers us to make things a little bit easier for friends who can’t attend, from those in no condition to travel, to those who just can’t afford the plane tickets. — We’re the world’s premiere funeral streaming service.

We’ll quietly, and respectfully, provide a high-quality, multi-angle, non-obtrusive, LIVE video stream of the service to your absent friends.

We handle the technology. And a side-effect of that is that, there now exists a very high quality archive of your loved one’s ceremony. — Much like wedding videos, the stories people tell about the person being celebrated from the podium can be personal, humorous, passionate, and even heartbreaking. Also much like wedding videos, ceremonies are often stored for several years before being viewed by the next generation, or the children and grandchildren of the departed.

Streaming a service can be done at any scale, from a small service, to unbridled decadence.

We simply bill by the number of staff needed:

Q: Can we stream for absent friends *without* keeping a recording?

A: Of course. If you’d like this process to become an invisible part fo the past as quickly as possible, no problem. We just won’t press the “record” button.

Q: Can we *archive* a service without streaming or broadcasting it?

A: Absolutely. All we do differently is *not* press the “transmit” button.
